The consultation period for the A55 widening has opened and will run until 31 December 2009.
The proposed scheme involves a widening of the road to provide four lanes with a dedicated right turn into Shandon Park. The opening at Ascot Park onto the A55 will be closed and link road will connect Ascot Park to Shandon Park. Similarly the opening at Kingsden Park onto the A55 will be closed and link road will connect Kingsden Park to the Kensington Road.
