Roads Service will have to consider all letters of objection, so please don't rely on others to object - we have prepared standard letters of objection for you. These will be available to download by clicking on the links below. There are three different letters of objection to the scheme:
the first challenges the need for the scheme at all;
the second challenges the flawed consultation process; and
the third objects to the design of the scheme and the effect it will have on our area.
You can send more than one objection, consider sending them from different members of your household.
Remember, the more specific the letters are to you, the more impact they will have. If you are computer literate, take an hour to cut and paste as you see fit, tailor them to suit your own concerns, add comments about how the scheme will affect you or your family. Adjust the look and feel so that it reflects your UNIQUE objection. This will maximise the impact of YOUR opinions and establish YOU as an objector whose opinions have to be considered rather than just as a member of the Residents Association.
